Daniel Minter - Portrait - Callaloo 18:2

DANIEL MINTER spent the last nine months in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, where he created the four paintings in this issue of Callaloo. In addition to doing work on canvas, he has created painted wood-relief carvings. This native of Ellaville, Georgia, who graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta, lived in Seattle, Washington, before moving to Brazil.
