MENTIDERO The annual Comediantes' banquet for 1994 was held at 7:30 PM on December 28 at the Café Sevilla, 555 Fourth Street, San Diego, in conjunction with the meeting of the Modern Language Association. A no-host bar, beginning at 6:30, preceded the dinner. Attendees were afforded the unusual luxury of a choice of three Spanish dishes (mero, pollo, or cordero), each prepared in the manner typical of a certain region.
