Robert Morgan

Robert Morgan was the featured author of our Summer 2004 issue and has written twenty-two pieces with us over twenty-five years. Two of his stories were published in Appalachian Heritage before his first story collection appeared. A native of Western North Carolina and a Cornell professor, he has published sixteen poetry collections, three short story collections, five novels, and two non-fiction books. The American Academy of Arts and Letters presented their highest award to him in 2007.
