Abstract

The microcomputer is the newest mediaware available in the learning center, and it is quickly superseding other formats in the mediated avenue of total communicational instruction. The learning center is an effective way of presenting the microcomputers to teachers and students in the school setting because the center is available to a wide population. Computers are designed for massive labor, and the only way to make them cost-effective and beneficial to students is to keep them working. The microcomputer, when utilized each day in a learning center with a prescriptive learning approach, is proving to be an invaluable resource that teachers and students are welcoming with amazement and enthusiasm.
