Mediterranean Studies focuses on the Mediterranean world over a broad chronological span—from Late Antiquity to the Enlightenment. The journal’s interdisciplinary approach includes work on the arts, religions, cultures, histories, and literatures of the Mediterranean world. Contributors come from a wide range of backgrounds, including archeology, English, Jewish studies, history, comparative literature, medieval studies, religion, and art history.
