Hispanófila, publishing on any literary, linguistic, or cultural topic dealing with the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking worlds, was brought to the University in 1968. Romance Notes, accepting articles on any literary, cultural, or linguistic topic dealing with Romance studies, was founded in 1959. The NCSRLL book series has also built its own legacy with more than 300 titles in print since its initiation in 1940.
