Since 1978, New England Review has established itself as one of the nation’s most distinguished literary journals, a publication that encourages artistic exchange and innovation. Presenting work by writers both new and established, each 200-page issue includes poetry and fiction in a variety of shapes and styles, alongside a range of nonfiction, including personal and lyric essays, cultural revaluations, rediscoveries, and more. Drama and works in translations are also a regular feature of the journal, which highlights writing from another part of the world in an annual portfolio of international writing.
