About the Author Samuel R. Delany is a novelist and critic who lives in New York and teaches English at Temple University in Philadelphia. His fiction includes The Einstein Intersection, Dhalgren, The Mad Man, Atlantis: Three Tales, Phallos, Dark Reflections, and Through the Valley of the Nest of Spiders.
