Kim Donehower is an assistant professor of English at the University of North Dakota, where she teaches courses in writing, pedagogy, and literature and directs the Red River Valley Writing Project. Her work on rural literacies has been published in the Journal of Appalachian Studies and in Women and Literacy: Inquiries for a New Century. Charlotte Hogg is an assistant professor of English at Texas Christian University, where she teaches a variety of writing classes. Her work has been published in Western American Literature, Great Plains Quarterly, Clackamas Literary Review, Sundog: The Southeast Review, and elsewhere. She is the author of From the Garden Club: Rural Women Writing Community. Eileen E. Schell is an associate professor of writing and rhetoric and a faculty affiliate in women’s studies at Syracuse University, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in writing and rhetoric and undergraduate courses and community writing workshops on memoir, autobiography, and place-based writing.
