Kleber Mauricio Silva Iribarnegaray “Mauricio Silva Iribarnegaray, Uruguayan Salesian priest and street sweeper, was kidnapped from this site on July 14, 1977 . ” Neighborhood residents, former co-workers, and fellow activists took part in the ceremony dedicating a paving stone in his memory. Mauricio was a priest from the Uruguayan Salesian Congregation ; he worked as a city street sweeper in the former city yard of Floresta. The Disappeared of La Paternal On June 10, 2007 , a paving stone was placed in Plaza Roque Sáenz Peña to remember the neighborhood’s disappeared. The day’s events included a festival, music , and games.
