University Campus, UBA In 1983 students and professors of the Faculty of Architecture , Design, and Urbanism (FADU) of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) created a commemorative flag bearing the photographs and names of disappeared Faculty members. On May 31, 2005, the Faculty opened up files pertaining to disappeared students , alumni, and professors to assist with the design of a new flag to replace the original. The Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences organized several activities to mark the coup’s thirtieth anniversary , including a roundtable discussion about the dictatorship ’s impact on the institution, and a ceremony to unveil a plaque dedicated to the thirty thousand victims of disappearance and to those who maintain the fight for human rights. A plaque was dedicated on September 23, 2005 in the third-floor biology laboratories. The event was organized by the Student Union by Pablo Spinella, son of former student Miguel Spinella, who disappeared along with Daniel Bendersky.
