Each summer students from all over the world gather to learn French and to enjoy hiking and biking across mountain pastures and slopes. The Swiss mountain pastures are covered with white, pink, and blue wildflowers in summer, and big brown cows with tinkling bells munch and moo their way across these verdant pastures. Each small Swiss village has chalets with brilliant window boxes. Neighbors compete for the most lavish window display .
