75 homE going They are old now, acquainted with silence. Not the same boisterous congregation. Only four sisters left alive, the last brother’s curled limbs crumbling into the earth they’ve just thrown down. Still, they can remember themselves, a pitch-strained quartet recalling their choir’s tune. None younger than eighty, all pictured here in frills and school-girl white, these women do not have frown-torn faces. Though their skin is light, their eyes weigh something only they can measure.
