Rob Alary of Data Library Services at Murray Library, University of Saskatchewan, provided the Canadian census statistics on membership in the United Church of Canada and the population of Canada. Staff at The United Church of Canada Archives and at the United Church Observer were very helpful in providing photographs. Elizabeth worked as a Sunday school teacher, Explorer leader, choir member, and occasional worship musician, and Jack worked as a clerk of session, and chair of the worship committee; both were Bible study members and participants in many church groups and projects.
