Acknowledgments The development of the three-volume text Indonesian Grammar in Context: Asyik Berbahasa Indonesia is the result of years of collaborative work. My deepest gratitude goes to my co-authors, Molly Burns and Shintia Argazali-Thomas, whose hard work and dedication have made this text possible. The pedagogical expertise of Molly Burns and the native speaker insights of Shintia ArgazaliThomas give the text its principled methodology and cultural authenticity. Numerous other colleagues have contributed to these volumes working on this project in various capacities piloting materials, offering suggestions, helping with audio recordings, and contributing photography. For all of these contributions , I am sincerely grateful. The commissioning of the art work (illustrations, charts, maps, and photographs ) to support the lesson activities was a tedious and time-consuming task ably handled by Shintia Argazali-Thomas and Sisca Oroh-Bolling.
