APPENDIX J Log of A Date with Dale Between September 1984 and the year 2000, Dale Evans hosted more than 275 A Date with Dale programs on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), Santa Ana, California. On this thirty-minute spiritual talk show, she interviewed dozens of guests including Hollywood personalities, ministers, sports figures, missionaries, and family members. Evans taped the shows in a variety of places including the TBN studios, the Roy RogersDale Evans Museum (Victorville, CA), the Rogers's home (Apple Valley, CA), The Trinity Christian Center (Costa Mesa, CA), and Jimmy Snow's Gospel Studio (Nashville, TN). The following log provides an overview of the programs with an indication of Evans's guests, the songs that she or others sang, and the subjects covered in the interviews . While the series was spiritual in nature, Evans maintained her Western persona with a filmed introduction that included clips from The Roy Rogers Show and from her Republic features of the 1940. Trinity Broadcasting provided information on the initial seventy-eight broadcasts. The remainder was compiled from my personal viewing. Reruns of the program are not included in the log. Program: 01.
