Filmography This is not a comprehensive filmography. Throughout his long career, Albert Maysles has shot so much footage (of everyone from Robert Bresson to Britney Spears) and worked on so many films that it would be a gargantuan task to assemble all of this in one concise filmography. Maysles Films, Inc., has been attempting to sort through and document much of the footage that is in their archives. What follows below includes the best-known and most available films from the Maysles brothers’ body of work. I have avoided listing their television commercials or other advertising films, which range from promotional works for IBM and the Metropolitan Opera to a Sports Illustrated swimsuit video. A few of these works are listed on the company’s website (www.mayslesfilms.com), and interested readers may refer to the filmography there.
