This article discusses several performances in Thailand produced since 2020 that address ecological issues by engaging with different Thai communities and their ways of understanding of natural environments. The performances are experiments concerned with enhancing healthier relationships with our damaged world. We have sketched a heuristic matrix for situating these diverse performances, which include the works of Bangkok theatre artist Sineenadh Keitprapai, Kanapot Wirattanachai’s design work with the Bangsaen community to clean up the beaches in Chonburi Province; playwright Kitti Meechaikhett’s piece on PM 2.5 pollution in Chiang Mai; and Narumol Thammapruksa’s play at the Lanna Wisdom School also in Chiang Mai.
