Abstract:
This article explores how philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson embraces the concept of experience as a means to live life as an experiment in order to welcome opportunities for the creation of new knowledge. The author uses Emerson's writings to argue that progress of thought and society can be made when one questions archaic fact, sees action and knowledge as inseparable, and views fearless experiencing as an invaluable event that can transform learning and lives.
