Cine rural: representación cinematográfica del campo hasta la España vacía de hoy

Resumen:

El cine ambientado y conectado con el medio rural en mayor o menor medida siempre ha estado presente en la escena fílmica nacional. Estas producciones generan proyecciones identitarias, simbólicas y metonímicas sobre la realidad española. Este volumen especial se plantea si el cine rural refleja la sociedad con la que convive o si estas narrativas visuales solo son un recurso estético sin más implicación. A su vez, este trabajo analiza cómo se proyecta el campo como cultura y realidad en sí misma y cuál es el futuro del mundo rural español, concretamente en lo referente a la participación y representación nacional, regional o individual, entre muchas otras. En definitiva, este estudio esboza cuál es la agencia de la esfera fílmica rural en la España del siglo XX-XXI.

Cinema set and connected with rural areas to a greater or lesser extent has always been present on the national film scene. These productions generate identity, symbolic and metonymic projections on the Spanish reality. This special volume questions if rural cinema reflects the society with which these visual narratives coexist or are only an aesthetic resource without further involvement. In turn, this work analyzes how the rural context is projected as a culture and reality in itself and what the future of the Spanish rural world is, specifically with regard to national, regional or individual participation and representation, among others. Ultimately, this study outlines the agency of the rural film sphere in Spain in the 20th-21st centuries.
