Women and Leadership Style

This article addresses the topic of gender, especially as it relates to women, their presence, their power, their vulnerabilities, and their ways of being involved in group leadership. It reviews the author s personal experiences as the leader of a professional organization as well as her experiences as a group therapist. It highlights five areas to which female leaders should be alert to be prepared and effective leaders.
