This bibliography is directed to publications that appeared in 1995, but also includes some earlier publications that were overlooked in previous years’ compilations. The organization of the bibliography remains the same as that in preceding issues. The initial section lists books containing independent essays by a single author or by different authors. The specific essays in these collections are listed individually under the appropriate category elsewhere in the bibliography and are cross-referenced to the parent work. After the opening section of “Collections,” the bibliography is arranged by general subjects starting with disciplinary theory and followed by rhetoric of science, passing on through the various sciences, and ending with technology. Each section begins with a cross-listing of entries that overlap categories.

At the end of the bibliography is an Index of the scholars whose works are cited in the entries. The Index to Subjects that follows has two parts: first, a list of the names of people discussed in the cited entries; and second, references to selected topics.

We welcome two new members to the Bibliography Committee: John Greenway, who will be covering publications in Danish periodicals; and Patricia Marino, who is covering the physical and mathematical sciences. Not just for ourselves but also on behalf of the Society for Literature and Science, we express our gratitude for the work done by all the contributors.
