Abstract:
According to Plato, Phronesis is the insight resulting from the knowledge of the idea of Good and a Divine Providence. In Mulla Sadra's writings, practical wisdom is more Platonic than Aristotelian. This is because the origin of practical wisdom in Mulla Sadra's philosophical system—similar to Platonic practical wisdom—has roots in a transcendental realm, which makes the two traditions of thought analogous and similar.
