Editors' Introduction

This issue is our second special issue and our first with guest editors. It also marks the second year of our new, semi-annual publication schedule. Beginning in 2020, the special topic issue is published in spring/summer, and the regular issue in fall/winter. Only the regular issue includes book reviews. As the continuing Covid-19 pandemic forces our separation, we hope that this issue of Feminist German Studies with the special topic "Performing Resistance" will provide an opportunity for connection across distance, intellectual engagement, and, of course, inspiration for resistance.
