We sit at the feet of a mauna,where steep trails,and sloping hills,become sheer cliffs.Where Papa's ancestors,Palila'a, Palikomokomo,Palikū, Palimoe,Paliho'olapa, Palimauna,teach us how to stay grounded.'Onipa'a.We sit at the feet of cliffs,among the pōhaku,upon which mauna are founded,

No'eau Peralto
No'eau Peralto was born and raised on the slopes of Maunakea in Waiākea Uka, Hilo, Hawai'i, and is a proud descendant of kūpuna from Koholālele, Hāmākua, where he now resides with Haley Kailiehu. He is a founding member and the current Executive Director of Hui Mālama i ke Ala 'Ūlili (huiMAU), through which he serves our lāhui as a community organizer and a cultivator of seeds and stories.
