Love out of Measure: Comparing Malory’s Palomides and Lancelot

In the ‘Book of Sir Tristram’ section of Le Morte Darthur, it is the Saracen Sir Palomides and not Tristram who reaches salvation through love, foreshadowing Lancelot’s relationship with Guenevere at the end of the Morte Darthur.
