Abstract:
A young woman accompanies her friend on a cross country road trip, anticipating a move that will end their relationship. Set in the late 2010s, "Endangered Animals" parallels the personal anxiety and loss of passing into adulthood with the broader existential grief of climate crisis, examining what it means to come of age in a time of snowballing disaster.
