COVID-19 has meant that the past year has been difficult for everybody and terrifying and heartbreaking for many. We here at IJFAB found ourselves, for the first time, separated by physical distances and pandemic-era planning that precluded those necessary in-person meetings and less formal interactions during conferences and other social occasions that connect so much of the feminist bioethics community. The editorial team has been variously in lockdown, shielding because of health vulnerabilities, or ill, in our different cities and continents. Alongside so many of our readers, contributors, and reviewers, Zoom (and other online platforms) became the space where we tried to continue to bring you what we consider to be some of the best work in feminist bioethics. We hope that you will find the end result both valuable and enjoyable.

We want to acknowledge the generosity of the authors who continue to submit their work to IJFAB and of the reviewers who volunteer their time to provide skilled and thoughtful feedback on these manuscripts. Our colleagues at the University of Toronto Press and our proofreader, Ruthmarie Mitsch, have also helped to ensure that this issue appeared, and appeared on time. Publishing an academic journal always takes a dedicated community of people, and at a time when so many of the communities we belong to are struggling, we are especially grateful to be part of the worldwide network of feminist bioethicists and for your support of IJFAB.
