Only an Animal Can Save Us

One of the many ways in which the difference between humans and animals has been theorized is by way of point of view. We may amass any amount of knowledge about a creature and yet never come close to experiencing their world. Rather than questioning this distinction between human and animal, I argue that it applies to relations among humans.
