Transcultural Adoption Literature for Pediatricians and Parents

Pediatricians are now giving adoptive parents good advice based to a large extent on adoptees' recounting their experiences. Following the Medical Humanities approach, recent memoirs, novels, poems and films could be useful in helping pediatricians and adoptive parents develop more understanding of adoptees' experiences such as racism, loss, insecurity, and isolation.
