Abstract:
While many researchers have found an effect for pronunciation instructions for students of second and foreign languages (L2), instructors are reluctant to address pronunciation in class. This article presents a brief summary of the importance of pedagogical intervention on L2 students’ pronunciation along with a series of short lessons to present liaison for instructors of L2 French. Lessons can be adapted to any learner proficiency level and any academic setting (elementary, secondary, post-secondary).
