11 The French Review From the Editor’s Desk I am very happy to announce the forthcoming publication of the first volume of the French Review Book Series: Heurs et malheurs du système éducatif en France Marie-Christine Weidmann Koop, Editor The table of contents is on the following page. This inaugural volume is scheduled for publication in April 2018. All AATF members will receive an email in January with more details about the book and with a pre-order form. The March 2018 issue of the French Review will also include an announcement about this new book. Congratulations to Marie-Christine Weidmann Koop and to all our colleagues who contributed to this volume. I would like to thank two of our Review Editors for their service to our journal and our profession. Jean-François Duclos (Creative Works) and Zakaria Fatih (Society and Culture) will be stepping down at the end of Vol. 91. As a reminder, the work for each issue of the French Review begins nearly a year ahead of publication . We therefore welcome our new Review Editors, Khadija Khalifé (Creative Works) and Erika Hess (Society and Culture). Congratulations also to Cheira Lewis (Film) on her recent changement d’état civil (which also means she has a new email address). The contact information for all Editors is on page 287. The title of our Special Issue for Vol. 92 (May 2019) will be: Présences féminines. Scholars working in various fields—literature, film, bandes dessinées, cultural studies, linguistics, and pedagogy—are encouraged to submit articles (deadline: July 1, 2018).
