In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

  • From the Editor's Desk
  • Edward Ousselin, Editor in Chief

This second issue of Vol. 92, with its highly diverse articles and interviews, highlights the level of productivity of our colleagues, as well as the range of their research interests. It includes seven articles on literary topics, one on film, one on society and culture, three on pedagogical issues (the "Focus on the Classroom" rubric), along with the interviews of two authors from Québec: François Leblanc and Kim Thúy.

Two reminders about the French Review Book Series:

  • - The first volume has been published: Heurs et malheurs du système éducatif en France (Éd. Marie-Christine Weidmann Koop), a collection of articles on educational policy in France. Interested readers will find an order form on our website: <frenchreview.frenchteachers.org/Announcements.html>.

  • - A second book project, on broader societal issues in France, has been accepted and should be published in late 2019: La France contemporaine: unité et diversités, polarisations et solidarités (Éd. Michel Gueldry et Armelle Crouzières-Ingenthron). Please see the Announcements section (283–84) for the Call for papers.

The title of our Special Issue for Vol. 94 (May 2021) will be: L'entre-deuxguerres. Scholars working in various fields—literature, film, bandes dessinées, cultural studies, and pedagogy—are encouraged to submit articles (deadline: July 1, 2020). Please see the Announcements section (282) for details. [End Page 11]
