Set in Chicago's north side, "Equals Comedy" is the story of an emerging stand-up comedian who struggles to cope with his younger brother's opioid addiction by attempting to find humor in their situation. As his brother's condition worsens, it forces the comedian to grapple with the limitations of comedy as well as his personal relationships.
