We are listed in the Web of Science, offered through Project Muse, JSTOR, and countless other outlets. Our reader count spreadsheets from Project Muse are produced for us (daily, if we want them) by region, nation, attending to each essay; they show constant growth in overall readership, and readers often loop back to earlier essays, especially the ten great McKenna years. Some attention comes from interest already engaged in mimetic theory and René Girard, some comes from searches on the special subjects of these essays, from someone whose first introduction to mimetic theory will be here, now.

I am proud to send on the work in this volume, which is serious, after the truth in the best sense, in Girard's sense, which he expressed so simply to us at Innsbruck in 2003, just standing there, no armwaving, about what we were to do. The truth. Nothing else matters.
