Abstract:
The director of the Biblioteca Nacional de España (BNE), Ana Santos Aramburo, inaugurated the colloquium of 6–7 July 2018. She celebrated to Margaret Greer's scholarly trajectory, marked by over three decades of intensive research in the BNE's Sala Cervantes. Her comments also attest to the singular role of special-collections libraries and research librarians in fomenting innovative scholarship.
