Abstract:
When you didn’t know for nine hours and went through the rest of your day as usual, seeing clients, writing notes, answering calls, dining with a friend at the restaurant your husband didn’t care for, reading a few chapters before bed. When you stopped yourself from calling the police or hospital when he didn’t phone home from his hotel, because it happened that way sometimes and never meant anything. When you drank a cup of chamomile tea and finally fell asleep.
