- De la part des rédactrices en chef / From the Editors
________
We wish to extend our best wishes to our readers for the new year 2020, a year of change for The Canadian Journal of Modern Languages. Murray Munro, co-editor of the journal for two full terms, six years in total, co-edited his last issue, the 75th anniversary issue of the CMLR/RCLV, with Daphnée Simard. Daphnée would like to take this opportunity to express her sincere gratitude for Murray’s mentorship. It was a tremendous privilege working with him during this past year. His generosity and kindness smoothed the process of taking over the editorship and learning the tasks involved in producing the journal. The entire editorial team joins Daphnée in thanking him for his invaluable contribution to the journal.
It is our great pleasure to mark the arrival of Donna Patrick as a co-editor, with this first issue of the year 2020, which contains four articles. Donna is familiar with the journal, having been a member of the Board of Directors for a number of years. Until recently, she was associate editor of the CMLR/RCLV, a period in which she also wore the hat of treasurer, a position that she will keep during this time of transition. We are delighted to be able to benefit from her experience and expertise working with the journal, this time in her role as co-editor. We thank her for her continued contribution to the CMLR/RCLV by accepting this new responsibility! [End Page 1a]
