In honor of former Oriel Fellow St. John Henry Newman, the National Institute for Newman Studies, Oriel College, and the University Church are organizing an academic conference to evaluate the contributions of John Henry Newman to scholarship and education, nineteenth-century ecclesiastical and social culture, and to analyze his legacy. Academics and students are invited to attend the conference.
