Abstract
ABSTRACT:
The Congalese artist Jaspe-Saphir "Papa" Mfumu'eto produced self-published comic books between 1990 and 2005 and is considered one of the most important comic book artists in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The University of Florida (UF) George A. Smathers Libraries purchased the manuscript papers relating to his creative work, production, and business in March 2017. The collection is undergoing archival processing to be arranged and described, conserved, digitized, and curated.
