Caroline McCracken-Flesher is a Professor of English at the University of Wyoming. Her work ranges through Scottish literature and culture. Recent publications include Possible Scotlands: Walter Scott and the Story of Tomorrow (Oxford UP, 2005), and the edited book Culture, Nation, and the New Scottish Parliament (Bucknell UP, 2007). Her book on retellings of Burke and Hare is forthcoming from Oxford UP.
