Andrew Stauffer is Associate Professor of English at the University of Virginia, where he also serves as Director of NINES (http://www.nines.org), a digital initiative focused on nineteenth-century studies. He is the author of Anger, Revolution, and Romanticism (Cambridge University Press, 2005) and the editor of works by Robert Browning and H. Rider Haggard. He has published a number of essays on British literature and culture in the Romantic and Victorian periods.
