Three-Volume Collection on the History of FESPACO (1969–2019)

In advance of the twenty-seventh edition of FESPACO (The Pan African Festival of Film and Television of Ouagadougou), to be held in 2021, the editors have proposed a projected three-volume collection of the history of the festival.

We welcome your contribution to this publication project. Submissions regarding any and all aspects of FESPACO, including its exhibition history, visual iconography, thematic concerns, and relationship to other cinematic formations will be considered. The first volume is scheduled for publication to coincide with the twenty-seventh edition. Your submissions can be in the form of critical essays, commentary, interviews, and galleries.

The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2019.

Submissions should conform to The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition.
