Abstract:
In “Devil’s Disease,” a speaker with fever walks through trees, ruminating on the difficulty of speech, god, and the confusion between sensory perception and reality. In “Devil’s Repetitions,” the speaker declares intention to be good to himself, to pay attention to what is going on to the world around him.
