We are proud to announce that Asian Perspectives has been listed in the zArts and Humanities Index' as of December 2018, immediately enhancing the journal's international profile and citation performance metrics. This recognition was possible only after renewing the journal's sustained on-time publication of two high-quality issues per year, with thanks to the contributing authors, volunteer external peer reviewers, editorial board members, and the work of Nat Erb-Satullo, who assists with all aspects of the article submission and review process, and professional technical production staff, particularly Jaida Samudra.

The new indexing of the journal hopefully will inspire more authors to submit original manuscripts of interest for our international readership. As Editors of Asian Perspectives, we have noticed that the most successful manuscripts have clarified what they contribute in terms of far-reaching relevance for archaeology in general and internationally. While many projects by their nature involve particularistic or site-specific studies, the findings and implications have greater impact when they are made relevant more broadly to different situations worldwide.

The journal's website provides the latest news and information about the journal, current issue contents, instructions for prospective authors, and other useful links, available at https://www.uhpress.hawaii.edu/title/ap/. [End Page 219]
