ivonne hernández (b. Mexico, 1998) is a Mexican composer. She began her studies in music in 2010 at the State School of Fine Arts of Nayarit. In 2016 she enrolled at the Conservatorio de las Rosas. Her music is characterized by the search for musical narratives from the exploration of atmospheric sounds, the contrast of textures, and timbral appreciations. She has premiered several contemporary works in different concert seasons at the Conservatorio de las Rosas. She has also had several presentations in Morelia (Mexico), at the Festival Zeppelin 2018 in Barcelona (Spain), and with Ecco Chamber Ensemble in Seattle, Washington (the United States). Nowadays she is working toward a bachelor of music under the tutelage of Dr. Juan Sebastián Lach.
