Kris Nelson discusses his career as an arts presenter and agent in Canada and his move to Ireland to be artistic director of the Dublin Fringe Festival in 2013, and his current work as artistic director of the London International Theatre Festival, LIFT, (UK). Nelson emphasises the importance of attuning oneself to their local environment when moving abroad and being an artist-lead curator in programming, presenting, and producing work in theatre and performance festivals.
