Jonathan Kaplan, PhD, is a Professor of Philosophy at Oregon State University. His main research interests are in the Philosophy of Biology and Political Philosophy, and especially the areas where those intersect. Recent publications include work on arguments surrounding the concept of biological ‘race’ in humans, human behavior genetics, and on issues related to the social determinants of heath.

Joseph Lee, PhD, is a research scholar in the Adelaide College of Divinity, Brooklyn Park, South Australia, within the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Science at Flinders University, Adelaide. His doctoral research explored the Catholic Church’s teaching on the human soul within the contexts of the neurosciences, psychology, philosophy, and spirituality. He is also interested in healthcare ethics, disability studies, and the philosophical and ethical implications of artificial intelligence.

Nate W. Olson, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Associate Director of the Kegley Institute of Ethics at California State University, Bakersfield. His research focuses on ethical issues related to personal and professional relationships, especially in clinical practice and research.
