Southeast of Now: Directions in Contemporary and Modern Art in Asia is now free to read. Thanks to generous grants from the Chen Chong Swee Asian Arts Programme at Yale-NUS College, Singapore, and also the Foundation for Arts Initiatives, Paris, the journal’s online editions are now freely available via Open Access, online at Project MUSE (muse.jhu.edu/journals/sen).

We are committed to making research and writing on Southeast Asian art accessible to all, and we recognise that many of our readers are not affiliated with a university or other institution that subscribes to the journal, and also that many institutions located in the region are unable to commit to a subscription.

We will continue our fundraising efforts, with the aim of continuing to be freely available via Open Access in future. Questions about subscriptions, open access and future access to the journal may be directed to NUS Press at nusbooks@nus.edu.sg.

Thank you to subscribers of our print edition, and to our readers and contributors for your ongoing support, and thank you again to the Chen Chong Swee Asian Arts Programme at Yale-NUS College, and also the Foundation for Arts Initiatives, for your generous grants. [End Page 253]
