In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

  • From the Editors
  • Franc Marušič & Rok Žaucer, Editors-in-Chief

This is the second issue of volume 26, so the second issue with us as editors-in-chief and with JSL employing the Open Journal System for the submission and review process. As any change does, the adoption of OJS has surely led to some initial inconveniences for everyone involved—authors, reviewers, editors—but we believe it has been worth it, and we hope that the inconveniences are now more or less behind us. With the completion of volume 26 number 1, Renata Uzzell has taken over from Phillip Weirich as JSL managing editor. We thank Phillip for his service, and we welcome Renata to the team. We also welcome Anton Zimmerling as a new member of the editorial board. Together with the SLS board we have been making initial explorations into possible changes that could facilitate access to JSL and thereby increase its reach, although this has no bearing on the coming volume 27.

We thank the following colleagues who generously served as reviewers for the last two volumes of JSL (listed in alphabetical order): Ronelle Alexander, Henning Andersen, John Bailyn, Christina Bethin, David Birnbaum, Larysa Bobrova, E. Wayles Browne, Steven Clancy, Luka Crnič, Stephen M. Dickey, Dagmar Divjak, Mila Dimitrova-Vulchanova, Victor Friedman, Natalia Gagarina, Martina Gračanin-Yuksek, Jadranka Gvozdanović, Björn Hansen, Victoria Hasko, Tania Ionin, Peter Jurgec, Iliyana Krapova, Susan Kresin, Nedžad Leko, Grant Lundberg, Anastasia Makarova, Maja Marković, Liljana Mitkovska, Tore Nesset, Thomas Olander, Alexandra Perović, Hagen Pitsch, Irina Sekerina, Nikolay Slavkov, Svetlana Sokolova, Kate White, Jacek Witkoś. The list includes reviewers for two issues before our time. We apologize if we have missed anyone.

We welcome new submissions through our website, http://ojs.ung.si [End Page 183]
